Are you a cattle farmer? Would you like to learn more about best practice and how you can improve the performance of your herd?
When: 24th May
Farmers Weekly, in association with Zoetis, Volac and XLVets, are hosting Rethinking Cattle Performance 2018, to help farmers take the next step in the journey of promoting healthier cattle and improving productivity.
There will be three workshops in total covering a series of useful and practical topics, visit Rethinking Cattle Performance to find out more and to reserve your place.
The events will continue to provide farmers with straightforward technical knowledge to help dairy heifer and beef rearers create better businesses. This will be supplemented by practical examples of how delegates can do this back on their own farms.
Farmers Weekly will host farmers from various cattle systems from across the UK at the workshops. Delegates will be given the opportunity to network with peers and sponsors and learn from experts around the topics of nutrition, health and disease management.
The workshops will cover several different targeted and timely topics in a one-day format. Topics will vary to reflect location, attending-delegate systems and seasonal priorities. The agenda for the day will include theoretical sessions with expert speakers and lots of practical demonstrations to show how to put this advice into practice.
