Issues when importing
In order to be able to import work plans from agronomists, you must first have sent them your exchange key. For information on this, please see Importing from agronomists.
What causes an import issue?
There are certain pieces of information about your business, farm, and fields, which need to be the same in your Gatekeeper and in your agronomist’s Gatekeeper to allow work plans to be sent to you. If there is a difference between your Gatekeeper information and your agronomist’s version, this can cause issues when you try to import work plans.
There are also certain situations where some information in the job might cause an issue: for example, if the agronomist is using a different season to you.
As you import a job from an agronomist, the job will usually have a green tick to indicate that there are no issues with the data. However, if there is a difference which needs your attention, the job will be marked with either a red exclamation mark icon, or an orange warning icon.
If you have a red exclamation mark when trying to import an agronomist job:
A red exclamation mark indicates an issue with the data to be imported, which must be resolved by either yourself or the agronomist before the job can be imported.
Click on the eye icon to process this information, and then on the clipboard icon which replaces the eye. A new tab will open, with a description of the import error. You will need to rectify this issue before proceeding, or ask your agronomist to change their information and re-send the job(s).
If you have an orange warning triangle when trying to import an agronomist job:
An orange warning triangle indicates that there is a difference between your Gatekeeper and your agronomist’s, but it will not stop you from importing the job.
To see the reason you have a warning, click on the eye icon to process the information, and then on the clipboard icon which replaces the eye. A new tab will open, with a description of the data difference.
An orange warning will not stop you from importing the job from your agronomist.
