Field markers
After a field has been allocated a boundary, it is possible to add a marker to the field. This might be used, for example, to show the position of the main field gate.
The steps below assume you are still in the field map window after adding a boundary. If you are starting from the main Gatekeeper window:
- Go to the fields module
- Select the required field
- Go to the details tab
- Select the pencil icon in the field map section from the right hand side – this will be an image of your field with its boundary.
To add a field marker
From the field map window:
- Select the marker icon from the buttons on the left (picture of a location pin)
- Drop the marker at the required spot by clicking on the map
To edit an existing field marker
You can click and drag to move a field marker to a new location.
From the field map window:
- Select the edit layers icon from the buttons on the left (picture of a square with a pencil in)
- Click and hold on the marker
- Drag the marker to the required location
- Release the mouse to drop the marker
- Select Done to finish
