This video shows a brief demonstration of reading electronic sheep tags with a stick reader and transferring that information into Farmplan's sheep software. Once the sheep tags have been read, out on the farm, by the stick reader those sheep EID records are taken back to the farm office and downloaded from the stick reader into the Farmplan Flock Manager software program. To download the sheep individual identification numbers into the Flock software back in the office the stick reader is connected to the computer. The software then reads the data from the stick reader. When downloading the data you can allocate the records to a specific activity e.g. a movement. That data is then held in the sheep software.
If you want to print a copy of the Flock Register Report then by going into the 'Report Library', selecting the right sheep report, and choosing the date range you can see your Flock Register.
